Uptown weddings as LEADING indicator for growth

Lately, it seems more brides and grooms are sharing gorgeous wedding photos that prominently feature Uptown Saint John. This phenomenon sparked a conversation in our office: what does this mean about our city?

Sure, urban weddings might be trending right now, but we think these photos speak more about our city than some fleeting nuptial trend.

We’re desirable, even aligned with the couple’s values and personalities, and that’s something to celebrate.

Our city’s core has so much to offer: character, charm, an incredible bar and restaurant scene. A unique blend of heritage and industrial. The quintessential view of the Port and the familiar and cherished sound of a foghorn.

The container village, too, has been a colourful hotspot for newlyweds, despite having been open for less than a year.
