Give Love Feel Good 5.0 Quickstart guide

Here’s your guide to getting involved in Give Love Feel Good 5.0 - the pandemic version!

There are two ways to get involved (in a socially-distant manner) in this year’s campaign:

IPADS IN SCHOOLS:

Join Emera New Brunswick and make a tax-deductible donation by cheque to the Government of New Brunswick’s Department of Finance, indicating the name of the school to which you’d like to direct the funds, and the purpose: for the purchase of iPads for in-school use.

Donations to schools, with tax receipt from the Department of Finance

  • Make your cheque out to: Minister of Finance

  • Include in the note area: School Name, and purpose (for the purchase of iPads)

  • Elementary schools in the Saint John area include: Saint John the Baptist/King Edward, Seaside Park Elementary, Hazen White/St. Francis, Prince Charles, Princess Elizabeth, Glen Falls, and Centennial.

  • Mail to:
    ASD – South

What does the research say?

Research is showing that iPads can be an important part of building digital literacy - and literacy overall - at a young age.

About the Give Love Feel Good campaign:
Give Love Feel Good is an annual charitable campaign organized by Duke Creative Collective in partnership with The Feel Good Store and other businesses in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The campaign changes from year to year, but consistently taps into the idea that doing something small for someone else can have a big positive impact. Past campaigns have asked Saint Johners to recognize people or organizations working to make Saint John a better place; encouraged Saint Johners to send a Valentine message to the newcomers in the YMCA’s English language classes; collected mitten donations for the Romero House; and collected children’s books to build the home libraries of kids attending priority neighbourhood elementary schools.
