BCAPI is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to catalyzing, facilitating, and collaborating to end generational poverty in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Comprising business and professional leaders, BCAPI is driven by the belief that poverty can be substantially reduced if the community’s leadership focuses on this common goal and works with leaders from all sectors to achieve change. BCAPI members work collaboratively with people living in poverty, community organizations and government to develop, demonstrate and scale-up solutions that provide children, youth, and families with the essential tools and resources to succeed in school and life.

BUSINESS COMMUNITY ANTI-POVERTY INITIATIVE (BCAPI)

This is a project that is close to our hearts. The poverty statistics in our city are hard to look at. BCAPI has been operating in Saint John for 25 years now, and we needed to help them amplify their message and mission.

First, we developed a robust website, including research, goals, and detailed project analysis of their ongoing efforts. We helped to create a video to support the ‘When Children Succeed’ project, which puts more teachers in K-2 classrooms to help these kids learn to read.

We designed a comprehensive Impact Report, detailing the work BCAPI has done in the community over the past 25 years.

We created social media channels and continue to create content to keep people aware and informed of BCAPI’s efforts and challenges.

Lastly, we help them write, design and distribute a newsletter.
